World of Country LifeChallengeThe World of Country Life wanted to refresh their image and present a consistent message across their communications. What customers were going to enjoy at The World of Country Life wasn't well represented on the outside - the result was they got fewer customers than they deserved. We were also challenged to create a new mascot to represent them. SolutionWe thought very carefully about brand positioning. The World of Country Life offers an all-round experience with a steam and vintage car museum, as well as a petting farm, falconry centre and tons of indoor and outdoor play. Rather than complicate their image, we needed to create a 'feel' with animals taking centre stage and other attractions supporting the brand. ResultsWe created the Appy Angus mascot, billboards, facebook campaigns, newspaper and magazine advertising, indoor and outdoor signage across the whole park as well as a brand new website and merchandising material. Tony Collins, the park manager, reports that sales are up 40% this year. |
